Almost everyone in the United States has been affected in some way by Covid-19. Wether you have lost a loved one, lost a job or are deemed an essential worker. Our hearts go out to all of the people have become ill or have died from this horrible virus. Here at Coronado’s Pool Renovations, Inc. we had to holt all construction and were down for about 2 months. We had to come up with a plan internally to navigate this new way of Pool Service to better serve our customers!
We were lucky enough to have most of our employees work from home and workflow internally was not cut off. We were only allowed to take calls and schedule appointments for a further date. We put announcements out on all platforms to let our customers know what was going on. Keeping the customers in the loop is key!
A NEW WAY OF SERVICING CUSTOMERS
Every industry is going to have to change their ways to adapt to the new normal. For example, Car Dealerships now can conduct sales online only. Home Depot only allows 100 people at a time in the store. Liquor stores are doing curbside pickup and online ordering. Here is how we think the Pool Industry will move forward.
Virtual FREE Estimates
Instead of going to the customers home and sitting in their living room and going over contracts and samples. Pool Reps will have to do most contract work online through email or by sending copies through the mail. When the Pool Specialists has to visit the property all homeowners must remain 6 feet apart and the Specialists must wear a mask/gloves. The Pool Specialists will then create the Estimate and send it over email/mail.
Demo/Installation
The pool industry is very hands on and requires workers to be onsite. All employees will have to have CDC Training to comply to all guide lines such as staying 6 feet apart and must wear a mask/gloves. Our dispatch team will notify the homeowners by phone and make them aware what time the install team will be arriving and leaving. Everything must be NO CONTACT.
