- Take care when removing snow – Be extremely careful when removing heavy snow from your pool. Do not use a shovel for this process. Instead, use a long broom to push the snow off the top of the pool. Alternatively, you can use a roof rake to pull it off, or even a snowblower for lighter snow. However, for lighter snowfall, it’s usually best to ignore it.
