Are you looking for a beautiful and unique finish to brighten up your swimming pool? Mother of Pearl pool plaster is a great choice for anyone looking for a stand-out feature to add to a swimming pool. Mother of Pearl features a unique blend of sea gems and ocean pebbles, brought together to create a visually stunning finish.
The first component of this finish—sea gems—are attractive, small pieces of natural material made of up whole, tumbled and crushed abalone shell. Coronado’s offers two types of abalone: Sea Gem Sunrise and Sea Gem Sunset. Sea Gem Sunrise is made up of lighter shades of abalone; a mix of pink, pearl and light gray hues. This lighter, softer blend of sea gems is recommended for use with lighter pebble finishes. Alternately, Sea Gem Sunset is composed of darker violet, peacock and rose shades. Sea Gem Sunset is well-suited for use with darker pebble finishes.
The second feature of this finish are ocean and ancient water basin pebbles that are sourced from around the world. The mixture of the two creates a visually intriguing finish when sea gems are troweled onto the surface of the pool’s pebble finish during installation.
